Smaran is the founder of Optrex AI, an AI solutions company dedicated to making advanced technology accessible to small businesses. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Computer Science, blending technical expertise with a deep passion for AI systems and integration. Before launching Optrex AI in August 2024, he led consulting and managed large client relationships at Michael Kors, PetSmart, and Knitwell Brands, gaining firsthand experience in business automation and optimization.

Driven by the belief that AI should empower businesses of all sizes, Smaran founded Optrex AI to help small companies leverage AI-driven automation, decision-making, and operational efficiency—without the high costs typically associated with enterprise solutions. His mission is to bridge the gap between AI innovation and practical business applications, ensuring that even the smallest companies can compete, scale, and thrive in the digital age.
